Reticulated Silver with 14K Green gold shoulders. Special silver (70/30) is reticulated (“wrinkled”) by repeatedly heating then quenching silver in acid to develop outer layer of fine silver. When torched, the inner low grade silver “wrinkles” while the outer layer of pure silver remains solid. This complicated process solidifies the organic pattern in liquid silver.
